Overview
In addition to providing expert consulting services, Porewater Solutions also develops innovative software tools.  Our goal is to develop tools which help to improve our understanding of complex sites, and to design more cost-effective solutions.
Click on the links below to learn more about our software products.
Visual PFAS™ – For PFAS site characterization and forensic analysis.  Software provides an easy-to-use interface for making radial diagram and bar maps which help to improve conceptual site models and PFAS forensic analyses including source differentiation. Powerful visual aids can be prepared in minutes.

NAPL Depletion Model (NDM) – Simple screening model to estimate relative timeframes for natural and enhanced attenuation of NAPL source zones, or to improve our understanding of NAPL architecture.

In-Situ Remediation Model (ISR Model™) – Three-dimensional reactive transport model with specialized functionality for simulating PFAS in-situ remediation using sorbents such as PlumeStop®. The ISR Model™ has been used to support PFAS reactive transport evaluations for multiple SERDP and ESTCP PFAS projects.  The ISR Model™ may be used to support feasibility studies, remedial design, and remedy performance evaluations.

Vapor-2D – Two-dimensional, density-dependent, soil vapor flow and multispecies transport model (finite elements).  Used to simulate fate of chlorinated solvents, petroleum hydrocarbons, or landfill gas in the vadose zone.
