We have modeled chemical transport in sediments in both coastal and river environments, including:
| • | Sediment cap performance assessments (sand caps and AquaBlok caps) involving diffusion and tidal pumping-induced advection and dispersion |
| • | Modeling and negotiation support for a Monitored Natural Recovery remedy |
| • | Estimation of chemical attenuation factors between groundwater wells and shallow porewater in sediments |
Grant Carey of Porewater Solutions has been participating on the ITRC Contaminated Sediments team and is one of the instructors for the ITRC web seminar entitled: Remedy Selection for Contaminated Sediments.
